Wests Tigers, Balmain & Western Suburbs Team of the Century named: Keith Barnes (c); Peter Dimond, Charles ‘Chook’ Fraser, Harry Wells, Alan Ridley; Vic Hey, Keith Holman; Wayne Pearce, Paul Sironen, Arthur Beetson, Steve Roach, Ben Elias, Noel Kelly. Reserves: Kel O’Shea, Jim Craig, Tom Raudonikis, Harry Bath. Coach: Norman ‘Latchem’ Robinson.

Western Suburbs Magpies Team of the Century

In 2004, the Western Suburbs Magpies Team of the Century was selected. The team comprises the greatest Western Suburbs players between 1908 and 1999. The Magpies merged with the Balmain Tigers in 2000 to form the Wests Tigers.

Most of todays players were bot born when Tiger and Magpies became Western Tigers You cammot transfer heritage, nor should we endeavour to do so but we can accept our nation is one of people not born in Audtralia
